T2 with Terrace: Full Renovation
A T2 with terrace in Benfica, undergoing a full, extensive renovation. An established area, steady demand and a property with the potential to be fully upgraded.
The Context
When we came in, the T2 was entirely original: a closed kitchen, plumbing and electrics at the end of their life, dated finishes and a terrace with no treatment at all. The fundamentals were good (a generous area, two bedrooms and its own outdoor space) but they called for a complete renovation. We opened the kitchen, redid the plumbing and electrics from scratch, renovated the bathroom and treated the terrace with a vertical garden across the entire back wall. We applied premium finishes from the flooring to the sanitary ware: a Zimbabwe black granite worktop in the kitchen, a backlit mirror and a heated towel rail in the WC.
